So I seem to be making a habit of falling off the face of dA. Sadly, dA is one of the first things in my life I have to put aside when things get rough. The first few months of 2009 were a bit difficult for me in terms of employment and family, and I have a habit of spending -way- too much time on this site if I allow myself to. So while I was sad to walk away for a time, it really made the most amount of sense for me to focus on my "real life" and let my gallery go fallow.

I have not given up on my art, however. I can forego sharing my art but I could never give up making it. So I have a good few things to share - including several from this weekend. Dipping a little into candid portraiture, if you'll forgive the mild oxymoron there: I set up the shot how I wanted, but my subjects were unaware that they were posing for me. {... that didn't sound right. No, I'm not talking voyeurism, thank you very much My models in these photos are all close friends, who have given their permission for me to post.} Going to try to get one of those up today, along with some other random stuff.

But first, a nap: this weekend was exhausting
